With the economic situation our country has been facing, so many of Knoxville's homeowners have decided to stay put. Instead of trading up as was the trend over the last decade, people are staying in their homes, and simply taking the space they have and really appreciating it, and improving it.
We have even been improving our home- installing carbonized bamboo flooring throughout the whole house (from Lumber Liquidators). Replacing our countertops and backsplash with tumbled slate tile, new kitchen sink, sink and lighting fixtures, painting every room in the house, painting the porch and the decks outside.
So Knoxville homeowners, perhaps with the New Year upon us its time now to refresh, renew and renovate your house. They say "everything that's old is new again". I think its important to treasure what we have and take care of it.
Call me if you want to connect and discuss how I can help renew and renovate your home.
Just wanted to give a shout out to my small fellow business owners/entrepreneurs to reinforce that social media marketing does work, as long as you are willing to work at it a little bit. Like all good things, it takes consistent effort.
My wife is the "marketing person". She convinced me that this is the way to go. I can honestly say that I have brought in the majority of my new business in the last 4 months via social media marketing. It really works, as long I continue my daily/weekly efforts.
Here's a shout out to my new client Mark in Knoxville who found me on twitter this week. Thanks for the work, I and look forward to being your new handyman.
Well, off to go give an estimate now to another client who found my CloudProfile, and decided he liked what he saw! Have a great Saturday. BTW - It's a rare snow day here in Knoxville, and the kids are loving it!
Sometimes you have a minor issue with something in your home, and you just don't know who to call to fix it. It's not always a major remodel, sometimes there is just that "to do list" that begins to grow.
A good quality handyman can handle a diverse array of projects.
Your handyman should be able to come out to fix minor issues, like a leaking toilet or faucet, or installing a new light fixture, but they can also handle major renovations such as remodeling your bathroom or kitchen, repainting your whole house or even building a deck or outside entertainment area.
Sometimes the handyman has to work on his own home. We had a broken water pipe out in the front yard yesterday, so ended up digging down about 4 feet to repair the pipe. Glad that project is over with.
Doing alot of small home inprovement jobs this week around Knoxville. Sometimes you just have a crack in the drywall, need your living room painted, or want a new light fixture but don't feel up to tackling the project yourself. That's where having your own Handyman on call is helpful. I don't mind small jobs. They fill in the gaps in between the big ones :)
Happy Holidays everyone!
